At The Airport
Hopefully you have followed our previous advice and made sure that your home will be safe for when you return.
Getting To The Airport
If you are driving to the airport, make sure that you arrange to leave your car somewhere safe.
There are plenty of secure parking areas that will look after your vehicle until you return. Of course this will cost more than just parking up close to the airport, but at least you will know that it’s safe.
Before you leave home, remove any valuables from the car, sat nav etc, if you know the way.
If you are using a taxi to get you there, then make sure that it is a reliable, trustworthy firm, as you will be, again, letting someone know that your house may be empty.
If possible, have a friend or relative drop you off, (it’s cheaper too)!
